TUESDAY: The second go round of the College National Finals Rodeo finished at the Casper Events Center.
The Montana State steer wrestler was in title contention entering the short go round at the CNFR two years ago, but had a no time on the final Saturday to finish 12th.
"I was sitting third, and then I came out and missed my steer," Guenzler said. "I'm looking to get back and have another chance. I want to redeem myself."

Bryce Palmer and Jake Minor of Walla Walla Community College followed their first go win with a solid 6.4 second run to lead the average with a two run time of 12.0 seconds.
"I drew a good calf," Hupp, who had a no time in the first go, said. "They broke out on him [Monday], so I just tried Air Max Command Green
"Yeah, I'm pretty happy with the way things went [Tuesday]," Tech said. "I didn't worry about what any of the other girls did; I just went out and did what I had to do."
For Tech, who finished 16th at last year's CNFR, the result moved her one step closer to qualifying for Saturday's championship round as well as one more chance to compete for CWC women's coach Lynn Smith, who will be coaching at Cochise College next year.
Montana State's Lexy Rianda won the go with a time of 6.3 seconds.
Joining Tech at the top of the leader board are Shelby Winchell of Eastern Wyoming College and Brooke Smith of New Mexico Highlands.
Dirk Tavenner of New Mexico Highlands won the round with a 3.6 second run, which was just 0.2 seconds off the arena record.
Central Wyoming's Lacey Tech ties down average lead
McNeese State brothers Joshua and Jonathan Torres, who tied Palmer and Minor for the win in the first go, roped their steer in 6.7 seconds and are now third in the average with a 12.3.
Clayton Van Aken, a University of Wyoming sophomore, had an 8.5 to finish fourth in the go and take the lead in the average with a two run time of 17.6 seconds.

Central Wyoming College's Lacey Tech moved into a three way tie for the average lead in goat tying at the College National Finals Rodeo with a 6.8 second run to give her a two run time of 13.5 seconds.
The South Dakota State cowboy did just that Tuesday morning, winning the second go round with a 7.7 second run, the fastest run of the week.
